DOUG HUTCHISON, CFO

Doug’s education and corporate experience has always been focused around finance and business administration. Doug received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Indiana University with honors and completed studies toward an MBA from Florida Atlantic University. While attending college, he was also employed in various accounting-related roles working for some very well known companies such as Esmark Corporation, TRW, and Wendy’s.

 

Doug became Controller and Chief Financial Officer at Steel Fabricators in Fort Lauderdale in 1989. In addition to serving on various companies’ board of directors, he has been CFO at Causeway Lumber, Productivity Partners, and most recently Catalfumo Construction and Development prior to joining Meisner Electric, Inc. in 1998.

 

As CFO for Meisner Electric, Doug handles all financial and administrative affairs, strategic risk management, and funding of company programs. He evaluates goals and designs the financial strategies necessary to achieve them. Additionally, Doug is responsible for the Administration, Accounting, Purchasing, Human Resources, Information Services, Contracts, Credit and Legal departments at Meisner Electric.

 

Doug has served on the board of directors of Junior Achievement of South Florida, the Institute of Management Accountants-Palm Beach Chapter, and as president, director, and membership chairman of the South Florida Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association.
