Accounts Receivable/ Project Accountant

SUMMARY:
The Accounts Receivable/Project Accountant position may assist with billing, collecting and resolving outstanding payment issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent. 2-4 Years experience in Accounts Receivables and Project Accounting. Experience in the Construction Industry is highly preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel. Experience with Viewpoint software is a plus. Experience with AIA Forms a plus. Notary Public in the State of Florida a plus but not required. High attention to detail and sense of urgency. Team player with ability to effectively communicate. Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills.

BIM Specialist

Qualifications:
2-year degree in CAD (Computer Aided Design). 2 or more years with Commercial Electrical projects, 1 or more years with BIM (Building Information Modeling), 1 or more years with 3d Modeling. Proficiency in Autocad 2015-2017, Navisworks Manage, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam Revu, Revit 2015-2017.

Essential Functions:
•Overall responsibility for the BIM model creation and information developed during construction
•Reviews 3D Models from all trades
•Early design review and constructability analysis
•Conducts clash detection and visual walkthroughs using NavisWorks Manage
•Audits and reviews models in Autodesk AutoCAD/ Revit
•Holds weekly coordination meetings with project team members
•Manage / Update BIM Project Documents & Models
•3D Model Quantity Extraction / Verification
•Works with other trades to coordinate 3D Models using Navisworks Manage
•Coordinates BIM file exchange and archiving of milestone submittals
•Coordinates with the builder to assure the creation of proper BIM final deliverables
•Understands the equations, calculations and written instructions from designers and engineers before beginning a CAD drawing.
•Uses special notations and symbols to give instructions on drawings and blueprints.
•Draws plans for all construction projects.
•Uses manual drawing skills for plans that cannot be computer generated.

Electrician

SUMMARY:
Plans methods and procedures for the installation of raceway systems, wiring systems, lighting fixtures, electrical devices and appliances, electrical apparatus, motor and controls, control and alarm systems, specialty systems and grounding systems. Test and adjust, calibrate or correct electrical components to the standard required by the contract documents.
Installations must be made in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and/or the local code enforcing authority. All work must be done in a workmanship manner according to industry standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 1-4 years field experience working on commercial electrical projects. High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.

DUTIES:
Includes the following, but are not limited to:
•Plan, layout, and obtain sufficient required materials and tools to complete an assigned task as scheduled.
•Cut, bend, thread, assemble and install raceway systems.
•Pull wire in raceway systems verifying code fill requirements.
•Push, pull, or reposition rolling scaffolds, non-power driven lifts, machinery on wheels, and materials and equipment on or off mobile carts as authorized by the Safety Officer.
•Mount panels, disconnect and transfer switches, circuit breakers, control devices, meter and wireways.
•Set level and secure electrical apparatus.
•Install bus duct, cable tray and cable way systems.
•Install wiring devices and hot check.
•Terminate and splice wire cable.
•Install ground cable, ground bus and terminate with mechanical or Caldweld-type connection.
•Set and connect motors and controls.
•Locate and disconnect existing circuits and electrical devices and equipment devices and equipment in existing facilities.
•Terminate and splice HV cable using molded splice/termination kit similar to 3M.
•Set, level, secure, connect and test generators.
•Read and understand electrical drawings and manufacturers instructions.
•Follow all Safety guidelines and report any safety hazards, violations and injuries.
•Dig trenches or excavation.
•Use testing equipment such as meggers, voltmeters, ammeters, volt-ohm meters (VOM), ground resistant tester, high pot tester, GFI tester and light meter.

Project Mangager

Provides overall management direction to multiple projects, establishes project objectives and policies, maintains liaison with prime client contracts, and monitors construction and financial activities through administrative direction of on-site construction manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 5 years experience in commercial electrical industry, with at least 2 years in operations management. BS or BA in related construction field or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Must possess in-depth understanding of the operational requirements of a commercial electrical construction business.
Strong understanding of contracting principles and project management. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects/assignments. Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks while improving overall quality and value of the services provided. Demonstrates excellent communication, organizational and management skills and an ability to work productively with a wide range of individuals and interact with project employees, vendors, and customers, with strong emphasis on customer service.

DUTIES:

•Provides daily project management for the design and construction of commercial and industrial projects involving general, mechanical, and electrical construction.
•Responsible for reviewing contract and plans and generating any requests for information/clarity (RFI’s).
•Responsible for the planning, scheduling, budget preparation and forecast, cost control and contract management.
•Responsible for leading and coordinating the project team and it’s activities.
•Maintains effective communication and ethical relations with all parties involved in the project.
•Promote the company’s safety practices and programs to each project.

Foreman

SUMMARY:
Completely familiar with all phases of a contract’s scope, requirements and schedule. Plans methods and procedures for the safe installation of the electrical system including the coordination with other crafts and project schedule. Supervises the safe installation of the contract requirements in accordance with the National Electric Code and/or local code enforcing authority. Insure that sufficient material, tools and equipment is available on the job site so the project is not delayed or being done in a non-productive manner.
Maintain a harmonious and productive attitude among the employees.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 4 years experience working on commercial electrical projects. Possess a Journeyman or Master Electrician license. Must be able to interpret drawings, specifications, other contract documents, wiring diagrams, manufacturer’s information, and other job related directives. Must be able to identify and price changes to the contract. Must be able to make legible sketches and relate information to employees. Possess a valid Drivers License.

DUTIES:
Includes the following, but are not limited to:
•Orientate new employees.
•Plan work schedule by assigning tasks to employees.
•Order material and tools. Schedule delivery of major material items.
•Attend job site meetings
•Supervise the installation, verify it is being made in accordance with the contract documents and code requirements.
•Call for inspections and accompany inspector during walk through, noting and violations
•Notify the general Contractor or contact administrator of any code violations, omissions, conflicts or deviations in the installation documents.
•Submit cost estimates and schedule changes as required.
•Administer and enforce the Safety Program, Drug Free Workplace Program, and Hazardous Communication Program on the job site.
•Supervise the storage of material and equipment.
•Complete accident reports and make accident investigations as required.
•Inspect delivered materials, equipment, fixtures and apparatus for defects of non-compliance.
•Work with manufacturers, owners representative or owner to insure a proper installation.
•Supervise weekly safety talks.
•Does job site general administrative functions including but not limited to time cards, packing slips, cost codes, etc.
•Know employee capabilities and place them at an applicable task.

Estimator

Summary/Objective:
Provides pre-construction electrical cost estimates for large and complex institutional/industrial/retail projects as required by client’s documents.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related construction field or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred Must possess 5-7 years of experience performing design/build and conceptual cost estimates in the electrical industry on complex and large commercial projects, specifically commercial, hospitality, mid/hi-rise condominium & light industrial. Experience with Accubid or equivalent estimating software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong emphasis on customer service. Strong preconstruction and design build experience. Understand plans and specifications to identify the types and grades of materials and equipment needed to ensure compliance with project requirements. Experience with contract documents such as contract drawings, subcontracts, contract addendum and specifications. Familiarity with electrical equipment, materials, and specifications. Able to read and interpret architectural and mechanical drawings. Knowledge of NEC Codes and local codes.

Essential Functions:
•Review incoming requisition documents and understand scope of work to bid.
•Gather data in preparing bid packages, conceptual estimates, etc. for projects of large size and complexity, within scheduled bid deadlines.
•Responsible for developing plan & specification and design build bids for commercial, institutional, retail and light industrial projects.
•Calculates the cost of electrical construction based on reviewing and evaluating available documents.
•Perform take-offs from drawings; price changes orders; and conduct site visits to understand the constructability of projects.
•Develop budgets and cost codes for projects; assist in the preparation of technical proposals, including the design and writing the scope of work, management plans, work sequence, safety, quality control and commissioning.
•Obtain sub-contractor and supplier pricing to develop a competitive and complete bid package.
•Represent company with customers/owners and other contractors to provide engineering and cost data regarding project feasibility.
•Develop and present clear and detailed project scopes to the customer and meet with potential customers to present proposals.
